Even before becoming a realtor, I was always fascinated with architecture, landscaping, and interior design. Growing up, most people were surprised to learn that instead of watching cartoons, I was watching shows on HGTV and the DIY Network. I couldn't help it, I just loved watching the transformation of these spaces from works in progress to beautifully finished works of art. Seeing somebody's eyes light up as their dream home was revealed was always such a fulfilling moment to me as I watched those shows. I always wanted to be able to bring that same joy to others with my work. That's why I became a realtor, not to just help people find a house, but to find a place they can really make into a home.
I was born and raised in the Sacramento area and have really grown to love the city. Most of all, I love how central it is to everything. Whether you want to go to the beach or the snow, the Bay or Tahoe, it's all just two hours away and perfect for day trips. Growing up, I was always a person with many interests and goals. Some of my biggest passions are hiking and traveling, snowboarding, attending concerts, playing/watching sports (Go Raiders!), trying out new recipes, and hanging out with friends and family.
Throughout high school and college, I worked quite a few jobs in the area including working with children in Sacramento's 4th "R" Program, being a tutor for elementary students, and even being a server at Mikuni. With all of these jobs, I was able to have face-to-face interaction with people and make a difference in their life. Working with 4th "R" in particular was one of the most rewarding times of my life as I got to essentially be a big brother to these children and help them with homework, lead them with art projects, teach them sports, and be a role model like any big brother should. After high school, I attended CSU Sacramento where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. Upon graduating college, I accepted a job with the State of California as an analyst. It was a great job with good benefits and security but I felt like I was missing something. The missing piece was seeing the impact that my work had on others.
That's when I decided to turn toward a career in real estate so I could combine my interest in architecture and design for my love of helping people. Whether you're searching for your dream home, or selling the home where you raised your family and made endless memories, I understand that it's a very personal process and I promise to always respect that and support you in any way I can.
